Hello there lovelies,
I hope you're all having a wonderful Saturday evening, seeing as my blogging has been beyond awful the past few weeks I am going to blog a few times this weekend, some will be for scheduling and others, such as this one, for instant posting! I just painted my nails as I am off to a conference type of event to be a college ambassador and interview some business men and women, I decided to go for some classy and simple nails to compliment my outfit which I will hopefully be posting tomorrow, with my new shirt from a Charity Shop which is incredibly flattering in my eyes!
My sister and I were given a bag filled to the brim with nail polish, a mascara and some little purses/ make up bags, so I have been taking full advantage of the 35-40 I chose out of the nearly 80 we were given, some of them were PR samples as the girl who gave us them is the editor of Grazia online!

So here are my classy, simple nude and gold nails...

These are the polishes I used...

First I applied three coats of So Simple by No 7, although it states on the bottle to be a 'pigment rich colour', I had to put on three coats to get a semi opaque colour, however it's perfect for under glitters or interesting top coats, it gives a clean high shine base and I really found application smooth and quick.

Then I applied two coats of Models Own Disco Heaven from their Hed Kandi collection, which is a beautiful gold glitter and I found that unlike many of the glitter polishes I have tried in the past this one actually has a reasonable amount of glitter in it and was smooth to apply. Both polishes dry reasonably quickly even though neither claims to be a 'quick dry' polish! I would definitely use this combination again!

How do you like to wear festive nail trends?
