One Direction Kiss You Lipstick- Rock Me
So today I walked into my local Superdrug with my sister and to my (almost) disgust I saw a huge display featuring One Direction, as a bit of 'The Wanted' fan I wasn't best pleased until I had a closer look and noticed it was a make up line run by
MUA! As a brand I am rather besotted with I decided it was worth a swatch or two and then I saw the beauty that was the 'Kiss You' lipsticks and as much as I wanted to invest in them all I stuck to one for now,
LOUIS TOMLINSON'S SHADE; Rock Me.
The Lipstick:
|
With flash on, muted the colour and dulled out the purple tones. |
|
In natural light it is showing up far more true to colour, however in person it's more purple/lilac. |
Swatches:
|
It is the colour in the middle, between Cremecup by MAC (right) and MUA shade 13 (left and I am not 100% sure about the colour's name) |

On lip swatches. |
It appears to be far more of a pale pink than it is in reality but it reminds me rather a lot of
MAC's Saint Germain in the bullet, though I have never swatched it on my lips before. The formula is very moisturising and has the typical MUA lipstick smell, artificial sweetness comes to mind when I think of MUA make up, however it did withstand a cup of tea without melting off or transferring onto the mug so overall I am VERY impressed with the lipstick. The colours in the rest of the collection are making it very tempting to stock up on them in the Duty Free but I will try and resist, I would highly recommend checking out the line, whether or not you like the boys you have to admit if they chose the colours they have got some style and at only £3 a lipstick why not invest in a great new product?
