My top 5 beauty tips!!
Okay, so I have seen plenty of top tip posts in my time but I am hoping that mine will be somewhat useful to some people! Instead of rambling on I think I will get straight into it:TOP TIP NUMBER ONE-
Baby oil is the best make up remover I have ever used and there are so many benefits to it; it's designed for baby's skin so it's a gentle formulation, it's moisturising and it's un-fragranced!! I just drop the smallest amount onto a cotton bud and rub it all over my face (including my eyes) and remove my make up with no irritation!
TOP TIP NUMBER 2-
Find the perfect moisturiser for your skin; I have eczema prone skin so I have to be very careful with what I'm using on my face! I have generally dry skin so I need something intense but I also need something that's not going to irritate my eczema, I use Aveeno daily moisturiser. I understand this may be difficult but it's so beneficial in the long run even if it means having to get a free dermatology consultation to tell you what skin type you have and what formulas will best suit you, it's worth it!
TOP TIP NUMBER 3-
Buy a face wash! If you're at all as lazy as me you'll know that taking an extra five minutes to was your face with a proper cleanser seems like hard work, but the difference I have noticed in the softness and overall condition of my skin is astounding. A facial wash is a key part of an everyday skin care routine, I just wash my face while I am conditioning my hair and it kills those few minutes I have spare in the shower!
TOP TIP NUMBER 4-
If you're running late in the morning or you're just not feeling like getting out of bed then look no further! You may have seen the endless videos on YouTube telling you that if you're running late you need to make time for foundation and concealer and eyeshadow but I beg to differ! If you're running late, and take it from a girl whose always late, all you need to do is put on two products; mascara and a bright lipstick. I may seem mad but honest to god if you put on a statement lip colour it'll distract from the rest of your face, then to balance it out you want a few coats of mascara but keep it basic, after that if you have time I would move onto brows (they really do make a world of difference) then concealer, but this order will depend on your personal confidence. But ahead of those two I would say lipstick and mascara trump it every time!
TOP TIP NUMBER 5-
Last but definitely not least I would I say eyebrows are a key part of any beauty regime! Ever since I've taken the time out to shape and maintain mine, my confidence has been sky high, I feel like it is a critical part of my make up routine and when my boyfriend complimented them I knew I was getting something right! Even if all you can afford is an eyebrow pencil I would invest in one, and either shape them yourself or get them done professionally once and maintain them, or you could get them done regularity but it all depends on your budget!
So those were my top 5 beauty tips, I hope you enjoyed reading,
