Excuses, excuses & how to perk yourself up when you're unwell

Who's the world's worst blogger? This girl.
AH I feel so bad I barely blog at the minute and I really have no reason not to, I was quite ill over the weekend as well as having the 6 year old terror who goes by the name of Kai distracting me from doing anything even remotely productive! I am working really hard at college at the moment as it's coursework season and I am going to make sure all my effort goes into the pieces of coursework I have to do so I get A's!
Seeing as I was ill though I thought I would list some ideas on how to make yourself feel better (physically and emotionally), these are all the things I tried and my goodness did they work!

  • Eat healthily! Honestly this does work, I ate porridge and Salmon and I felt instantly better afterwards because my protein intake was high!
  • Take a break from make up; if you're ill it's unlikely that you'll be going anywhere so why not go make up free and just completely cleanse your skin?
  • Have a long bath. This was possibly my favourite activity during my little ill spell, it helps to clear your airways because of all the steam and it generally makes you feel clean, refreshed and totally relaxed.
  • CATCH UP ON WORK! I spent the day printing off college work that I knew I was going to need in my folders, which surprisingly helped me a lot, I read some poetry and did some analysis work.
  • I like to regularity check my banking, as it's always good to be on top of exactly what you're spending! So I will sit and read through my longer statement online to make sure all my invoices are in order! 
  • Possibly my favourite task of all; READINGGGGGGG! I could read all day every day but that might be a tad excessive, I do thoroughly enjoy my kindle and I like to make as much use of it as possible!
  • And finally of course because this is a beauty and fashion blog... Mundane beauty tasks such as leg shaving and eyebrow grooming, just the general tasks you tend to put off for as long as humanely possible! 
So that was the things I do to perk myself up when I am feeling particularly grotty!

MINI ANOUNCEMENT: 
Two things;
1) I have devised a schedule to post with; Sundays and Wednesdays for now. Some may be scheduled posts (like this one) and others may be written and published all in one night, I just appreciate organisation and this is a task I believe will help to structure my blogging life! 
2) A tad more exciting however; I am going to be reviewing the company graze and hopefully giving away four codes to allow four readers to get their 1st, 5th and 10th boxes free! Stay tuned for that!
