Make Up Trends- Autumn/Winter 2013

Okay so as a bit of a make up fanatic I thought I would share with you my favourite beauty trends for Autumn/Winter 2013.

Metallic Eyes:
I think metallic eyes are the perfect way to add some colour into your face, some good products for creating the looks would be;
Maybelline colour tattoo in On And On Bronze, Immortal Charcoal or Eternal Gold
Emma Watson; smokey metallic eyes.
Metallic eyes with a beautiful cut crease and the rusty brow bone shadow compliments the gold on the lid.

Fresh face:
 I think fall is a time where everyone likes to cake on make up, however I have been loving the fresh faced look shown on models for Chanel, Giorgio Aramani Prive and Valentino shows. I would recommend a light foundation and minimal make up elsewhere:
A flesh toned eyeliner in the waterline, minimal mascara and a dewy foundation are key in this look, however a very pale pink has been applied to the lips and cheek to give a natural radiant glow.

Completely fresh faced with a dewy foundation and shaped brows, extremely minimal mascara and bronzer to contour the face and give colour. A light natural blush and nude lips bring together this 'no make up' make up look.

Red toned eyeshadow:
My last trend is red toned eyeshadows, nothing screams autumn quite like rusty browns and reds so why not wear them on your eyes, I think it's a gorgeous look when worn correctly. I would recommend:

Kristen Stewart uses the red/burgundy metallic shade to bring out the green in her eyes but makes sure to add enough black around the lash line to make sure her eyes don't look tired.

Mary-Kate Olsen uses the red in a much more bright and vibrant way against her pale skin to play up the red in the dress, lining her eyes darkly with the black to divert from tired, fatigued looking eyes.
