Blogmas Day 1 || Christmas Tag
Hello lovelies,Today I went to have a look at Christmas trees and walk my beautiful dog with my family and it very much inspired me to do the Christmas Tag as my official START OF BLOGMAS, which in itself is really exciting for me. I aim to blog every day until and including Christmas Day, hopefully I will not let myself down too much as this is a big ask for me, I am currently dealing with coursework and mocks but I feel I am a fully able to do it without compromising my studies, so without further adieu, this is my Christmas Tag!
CHRISTMAS TAG 2013
- What's your favourite Christmas movie?
Um, I think it would probably have to be The Holiday with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black... Though I could watch it all year round so if not that The Santa Clause 2 - Are you on the naughty or nice list?
I would've thought I am on the nice list, I haven't really done any naughty things, well none that come to mind anyway!! - Have you ever had a white Christmas?
I don't remember it but supposedly I have, other than that one year I haven't, not even when I went to Scotland for the holidays!? - Where do you usually spend your holiday?
I am assuming this means Christmas day, usually that is spent at my Grandparents since they moved down here, but next year we will be living together so it will be at my house, how very exciting? - What is your favourite Christmas song?
I would have to say Fairytale Of New York by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl or Baby It's Cold Outside by either Zoey Deschanel or Cerys Matthews and Tom Jones - Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
We have done in the past but it's not a tradition and they're only ever small ones from family members who don't know me and my sister very well, therefore get us just chocolates or something similar - Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Of course I can, seeing as I am a Christmas junkie, and I will not even need to google them as I know the song off by heart; You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen, but do you recall the most famous reindeer of all? RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER - What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year?
Well like I said before my family don't really have Christmas traditions, but this year I might be going to Adam's on the 20th and there's a carol service there so I will possibly be going to that. Other than that there's always decorating the tree and baking with my Grandma to look forward to... - Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
We have had fake trees in the past but in my eyes it wouldn't be Christmas without a real tree, just the smell is incredible - What's your all time favourite holiday food and holiday sweet treat?
My favourite food is probably Turkey because my mum cooks it so well, my favourite sweet treat however is a difficult one for me because I don't like many so maybe Gingerbread Men? I don't know! Oooh or Hot Chocolate, if that counts? - Do you prefer giving or receiving gifts?
I genuinely prefer giving gifts, I always get these elaborate gift ideas but I never have the money to pull them off so I always feel disappointed over Christmas! - What would your dream place be to visit over the holidays?
Okay because I am such a Chritsmas freak I would love to go to Lapland to visit that Santa place in Saariselka? - Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably?
I like to think I am quite good, I do the wrapping for my Grandparents, my Dad and I sometimes help my Mum out with her load - What made you realise the truth about Santa?
I am one of those children who was too smart for her age and I figured it out pretty quickly but I still have bundles of Christmas spirit to spare so it didn't greatly affect me! - What's your most memorable holiday moment?
Hmm this is a tough one but I think it was the Christmas two years ago, we had a massive day with all my Aunt Amanda's children, my Grandparents and of course my Family and I, it was just a really nice day with everyone and it was a lot of fun! - What makes the holidays special for you?
Before it has been just getting to spend so much time with my family, especially my little sister who I love to bits but I think this year it will also be spending time with Adam who hasn't had the best Christmas memories and creating a special time for him
So I think that's everything, I will leave you with some photos I took today on my walk with the family!
